When planning your website, it’s important to decide where your target audience is located so that you can tailor your online marketing to reach people in that area.
The Map Overlay in Google Analytics allows you see where your website visitors are located by Country and City.
And you can drill down to the specific city within that country. You can even find out the key statistics for visitors from each city such as time spent on site and bounce rate.
If you’re not reaching your target geographic area, you may need to make some changes to your online marketing activities.
